Observations of a people in turmoil
Rafah is in the southern section of the Gaza Strip, adjacent to Egypt. Protecting a pharmacist's house from being destroyed by the Israeli army a soldier driving a huge armored D9 bulldozer made by Caterpilar killed Rachel Corrie in March 2003. The site of her murder and the nearby Rachel Corrie Children's Center were two objectives of a recent visit. For Rachel Corrie, her dedication, her example., her truth.
