A series of coordinated popular resistance actions across the Occupied Palestinian Territories—and the world—commemorate the 65th anniversary of the Nakba or Palestinian Catastrophe. At Al Walalja, a small village near Bethlehem nearly surrounded by illegal settlements and the separation wall, unarmed activists cried out for their basic human rights—freedom and the end of the Israeli occupation.
