From the exhibition statement: "This exhibition proposes to operate on the Cataract that has stricken photography and to restore it its vision. Cataract is a disease of the lens which results in a veiled, blurred and distorted vision. Such a deficiency may be said to accord with a central aspect of contemporary photography, which supposedly refuses to render a reality external to it."
