Charles River-1-Watertown

The light of autumn. What distinguishes it from summer light, winter light, spring light?

Mid day noon,
solar light overhead, high,
falling, fading, failing,
we slide into
the last light of this particular day,
September 28, 2013.

And soon, the
early darkness. Once again
we plunge into winter.
Perpetually?
