Beit Nattif: a destroyed Palestinian Arab village. Prior to 1948 it lay nestled on a hilltop, surrounded by olive groves and almonds, with woodlands of oak and carobs overlooking Wadi es-Sunt (the Elah Valley) to its south. (Wikipedia) It was the home of many families now living in the Aida refugee camp whom I photographed. (For photos please see earlier posts on this site and for stories my blog.)
