Now living in the refugee camp of Dheisheh in Bethlehem with his two unmarried elderly daughters and four generations of his family. Devoted to his sheep, when he returned to his destroyed village after the Nakba to care for them, Israeli forces arrested him and confiscated his sheep. They never returned the sheep
