Dani Dayan: Ambassador for Apartheid
"The Legal Strategy of Settlements," a talk by the Israeli Consul General, Dani Dayan, a leader in the settlement movement, at the Harvard Law School. Organized by the Harvard College Palestine Solidarity Committee, Alliance for Water Justice in Palestine, and other activist groups, primarily university students, I was stunned when, minutes into the talk, most of the audience quietly rose from their seats, displayed signs declaring settlements are a war crime, and assembled outside to celebrate our dramatic moment, one that I hope resonates world wide.
