28-Ibrahim Eid Nghnghia (Abu Adnan) in Jenin with his son and a friend

Ibrahim and his friend, Yahia Moneeb Al-Sadi, are from two separate villages north of Jenin, near the junction of Megiddo. When Ibrahim finally arrived in Jenin after 1948, the year of the Nakba, his family settled in tents near the old Ottoman train station. His family was expelled or lost their homes 3 times: Nakba, 1967 war, and then, because of one of his activist or fighter sons, once more in 2002, Israel demolished his home as punishment. (With gratitude to Adnan Torokman for arranging and translating this interview and photographic session.)
