23-Maryam Abdallah Abu Lateefa from the village of Saris, 9 miles west of Jerusalem. When she returned in the 1980s with other women from the village to harvest their olive trees, an Israeli settler confronted them. Maryam and her friends resisted and continued their harvest. The settler later returned and retaliated. She and her family now live in the Kalandia refugee camp near Ramallah.
