Part of a simultaneous multi-city movement to stop Enbridge construction of the Line 3 tar sands oil pipeline on indigenous lands in Minnesota

After a rally along one of the most water-related sites in Boston, Jamaica Pond, we marched to the Boston home of President Biden's climate crisis advisor Gina McCarthy. One year ago she tweeted: "I’m proud to join Indigenous leaders and climate advocates in urging @GovTimWalz to oppose Enbridge’s Line 3 tar sands pipeline and protect Minnesotans’ health, water, and land. The time for dangerous oil pipelines is over. Read our letter to #StopLine3." We delivered messages from the people, those at the rally, calling on her to honor to move the government to enforce treaty rights and respond to the climate crisis as she'd promised.
