In the fall and early winter of 2024, a small group of us known as the Artist Pod, two painters and three photographers, explored various New England regions on field trips. We seek to embody and express aspects of the New Story. New Story contrasts with the Old Story of human dominance, as exemplified by the major world religions, usually dominated by males. Humans reign supreme over everything of the earth. In the New Story humans are part of that consciousness, emerging in it. The earth and cosmos are sentient and have consciousness. In New Story we strive to evolve a new species of homo sapiens, a wiser human animal.
