5th Anniversary of the War in Iraq—Our Bodies Speak Out

Photos by Skip Schiel & Teeksa Photography—teeksaphoto.org

Remembering those who've died and suffered in other ways, mourning them, their families, friends, and ourselves, we will not forget: 3990 US soldiers dead in Iraq, 82,240-89,751 recorded Iraqi civilian deaths since 2003, an estimated total of more than 655,000 Iraqis dead, with countless others perhaps never counted. We American citizens have paid more than $1 trillion to date. We notice, we remember, we speak out with our bodies at one of the many scenes of the crime—the Army Recruitment Center in Boston, AKA "Armed Forces CAREER Center."
