Once again, the light returns.
Something buoyant, jubilant, radiant,
after months of relative darkness.A bluish, pastel light, the opposite of the steel gray skies of early winter,
Now it is spring, April, (perhaps the month of Venus, Aphrodite, the goddess of
love and beauty, no need this season for aphrodisiacs).
Spring glides into summer. Flowers
erupt, mud dries.
Light plays a role here--sunlight evaporates water molecules,
entices them to change state, become vapor,
ascend, join the light, the pastel, bluish light of spring.
